Hi. I’m Aprille Janes, a Canadian artist with childhood memories of woodland adventures and summer days by the water. These days my studio looks over the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia and my art reflects this lifelong love of the outdoors.
I work primarily in watercolour because I love the versatility and happy accidents of the medium. I paint what I see in the landscape surrounding me — garden flowers, cobblestone shores and of course, the ocean. I love sharing the beauty I see in the world around me through my art.
