I find so much joy and connection in the sketch-y ink and watercolour work. The energy of the pen work and colouring outside those lines makes me feel like a kid again.

By the Bay
It’s time to add more colour to my sketches but the world is still grey and brown. At least the sun brings out the blue of sky and water.
Daniel Smith inspired my sketching practice
While travelling last week, I visited the local art supply store (of course) and discovered a dot colour chart of Daniel Smith watercolours - dots of paint I can actually try. In turn it has inspired me to finally start a daily sketching practice.
